wowwwww it's such a treat to find a well-preserved older boat ring with sparkly old cut diamonds and extensive hallmarks and engraved memories, and this one does not disappoint. AND, it's in a not tiny size, which is a very rare treat
it's a gentle dome, an east/west navette, a five stone ring, old sparkly diamonds, round windows and chasing nodding to a filigree design, lots of beautiful old hallmarks & engraving, a subtle knife edge design on the shoulders tapering into a very slightly domed band
anyone have a special connection to 10/5/21? this could be serendipity!
very often these older pieces have replacement stones, but this one appears to have all of its original stones, which is a wonder
18k and old cut diamonds — center three stones are old euro cuts and the smaller accent stones at either end are rough/rose cuts

in very good antique condition
one of the smaller rose cut diamonds has what's either a miscut or a deeper scratch (see photo)
heavier surface scratches, dents and dings throughout the surface of the gold. some of these were deep enough that a jeweler inspected them to confirm they aren't cracks.
some of the patina was recently post to the trip to the jeweler, but some patina remains
all stones are intact, but will show wear under magnification, which is to be expected for diamonds in a ring that's over 100 years old. there's are micro chips around the edges of the stones, and/or they weren't perfectly round to begin with
